A Reflection of the Past

This is a reflection of my family's history in textile production of bag making. The business has been passed down for 3 generations. Exploring the process of handmade vs manufactured production. I created my own bag, going through every part of the process, from screenprinting, embroidery and constructing the bag.
Using traditional handmade embroidery techniques that originate from Pakistan. I used zardozi, phulkari, marori and balochi embroidery. I used this as a way to document the untold story of my family's legacy.
