Weaving Workshop - St. Cecilia’s Hall: Concert Room & Music Museum

Ammna Sheikh hosted a workshop for young people working towards their Gold Arts Award, delivered in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and the University of Stirling. During the session, she introduced her own work, research, and experiences from her time at Edinburgh University, offering insight into her creative practice. She also provided guidance and support to participants as they developed their portfolios, helping them refine their ideas and presentation. The workshop included a hands-on, technique-based component, where she demonstrated and explained the technical processes behind paper weaving, encouraging experimentation and skill development.
